Global consultation on the complete draft

The global consultation on the complete draft of the System Environmental-Economic Accounting—Ecosystem Accounting (SEEA EA) has concluded on 30 November 2020.

The System Environmental-Economic Accounting—Ecosystem Accounting (SEEA EA) aims to provide a standardized methodology for ecosystem accounting. The complete draft of the document reflects the contribution of a large number of experts that have contributed in kind drafting parts of the document, providing inputs during the global consultation on the substantive chapters and actively contributing to the discussions during the various sessions of the Forum of Experts on Ecosystem Accounts, the London Group on Environmental Economic Accounting, the bilateral consultations. The drafting process has been multidisciplinary involving experts from the statistical and accounting community, environmental economists, scientists and geospatial experts. The document has been drafted under the technical supervision of the SEEA EEA Technical Committee, acting in their role as the Editorial Board for the revision.
