Global consultations: SEEA Central Framework update

This page provides information on the global consultations related to the update of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting — Central Framework (SEEA CF).

Consultation on Guidance Notes

During 2026, the global consultations focus on the review of Guidance Notes prepared for the issues identified for the update process. 

The consultations are organized into three tranches, each covering a distinct set of Guidance Notes:

A summary of the feedback received will be prepared for each tranche of the global consultations and will be made available below. Upon completion of all three tranches, the Technical Committee on the SEEA Central Framework will formulate recommendations for the update of the SEEA Central Framework, taking into account the feedback received.
