The UN Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting (UNCEEA) functions as an umbrella body to provide overall vision, coordination, prioritization and direction in the field of environmental-economic accounting. The UNCEEA meets once a year and is governed by the Bureau of the UNCEEA.
The Fourteenth Meeting of the UNCEEA will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Eurostat Task Force on the Classification of Environmental Activities will meet from 13-14 June 2019 at Eurostat in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. This technical meeting of official producers of SEEA accounts in the European Union will discuss monetary environmental accounts. In particular, the meeting will cover explanatory notes for the accounts and a review of the CEPA and CReMA classifications.
The second expert meeting of the Paris Collaborative on Green Budgeting will take place on Monday 29 April, 2019, at the OECD Headquarters, Paris.
As a side event for the 50th United Nations Statistical Commission, the UN Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting will host a meeting to present: 1) the ongoing works at the international level to advance the methodological development of the SEEA EEA, 2) gather most recent experiences from selected countries, and 3) provide an opportunity to discuss how the SEEA EEA can support the Post-2020 Agenda for Biodiversi
The fourth Joint OECD/UNECE Seminar on the Implementation of SEEA will take place on 20-21 February 2019 in Geneva, following three previous seminars in 2015, 2016 and 2018.

Following the decision of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC) at its 48th session, the revision of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting 2012–Experimental Ecosystem Accounting (SEEA EEA) is underway. The SEEA EEA was endorsed by the UNSC at its 44th session in March 2013 as an important step in the development of a statistical framework for ecosystem accounting. The SEEA EEA offers a synthesis of the current knowledge in ecosystem accounting and serves as a platform for its development at national and sub-national levels.
