Since 1993 Trondheim Conferences on Biodiversity have created opportunities for increasing understanding amongst stakeholders about issues on the biodiversity agenda. They allow those involved in setting the agenda to learn and to share views and experiences with their peers.

The Expert Meeting was organized by the United Nations Statistics Division in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, and the World Bank, and was an activity under the “Natural Capital Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services” project funded by the European Union.

The UN Committee of Experts on Environmental-Economic Accounting (UNCEEA) functions as an umbrella body to provide overall vision, coordination, prioritization and direction in the field of environmental-economic accounting. The UNCEEA meets once a year and is governed by the Bureau of the UNCEEA.
The Fourteenth Meeting of the UNCEEA will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Eurostat Task Force on the Classification of Environmental Activities will meet from 13-14 June 2019 at Eurostat in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. This technical meeting of official producers of SEEA accounts in the European Union will discuss monetary environmental accounts. In particular, the meeting will cover explanatory notes for the accounts and a review of the CEPA and CReMA classifications.
