Closing National Workshop for UN Development Account Project in Malaysia

The Closing National Workshop for the United Nations Development Account Project in Malaysia is organized by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) in collaboration with Statistics Malaysia. The project aims to enhance the capacity of National Statistical Offices of the project countries (Malaysia and Indonesia) in the implementation of the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA). In view of the objectives of the project, the closing workshop will provide an opportunity for Malaysia to share their experiences on drafting of national plans for the implementation of the SEEA and the compilation of pilot accounts with relevant national stakeholders. The workshop will also provide an opportunity for Malaysia to present their national plans for further implementation of the SEEA.

The workshop will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia, at the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside, on 27 November, 2017 and is by invitation only.
