The online training course on ”Water accounts for the Mediterranean Partner countries” aims to train participants in water accounting as laid out in the UN System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) - Central Framework and to present country experiences compiling water accounts in countries that are part of the Euro Mediterranean Statistical Cooperation under the MEDSTAT V Programme.

The SEEA CF provides an agreed international framework that uses concepts, definitions, and classifications consistent with the System of National Accounts (SNA) for the compilation of integrated information on the economy and the environment.
