The SEEA Ecosystem Accounts for Mexico: Policy Brief

This policy brief summarizes the results of the pilot compilation of ecosystem accounts using the SEEA Ecosystem Accounting as part of the project Natural Capital Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services (NCAVES) and steps towards the implementation of ecosystem accounts in Mexico for its use in policy. The project NCAVES was implemented in Mexico under the leadership of INEGI, in collaboration with Semarnat, with the support of the Statistics Division of the United Nations and UN Environment The project is funded by the European Union.
