Webinar series: Headline indicators for the monitoring framework for the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework
The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and UNEP-WCMC, in collaboration with other partners, will run a series of webinars to introduce the metadata for the proposed headline indicators in the draft monitoring framework. UNEP-WCMC has collated available metadata from indicator producers for each of the proposed headline indicators. The webinars will allow Parties to hear directly from organizations compiling or producing the proposed headline indicators, and how they can be used for monitoring progress towards the corresponding draft goal or target of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework. During the webinar, Parties and stakeholders will be invited to raise any questions and discuss the merits of each of the proposed headline indicators.
The four webinars will be conducted online. The programme can be found below
