Regional workshop on the SEEA Central Framework and SDG indicators

The United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), is organizing a training programme to strengthen the capacity of the countries of Western Asia and North Africa in support of the worldwide implementation of the SEEA 2012 Central Framework and environment-related Sustainable Development Goals indicators.

The training programme is comprised of an e-learning phase to be held February to March of 2018. It will be followed by an in-person phase in Amman, Jordan from 26 to 29 March 2018, organized in close cooperation with UN Environment, the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics (AITRS) and the League of Arab States (LAS). The training is by invitation only.
