Urban natural capital accounts seminar

The ONS Natural Capital team will be hosting an online seminar to discuss the urban natural capital accounts publication and its estimates of the value of urban natural capital which was released on the 7 September 2023.

The urban natural capital accounts estimate the extent and condition of urban habitats within the UK, as well as the financial and societal benefits they provide. In 2020, the total asset value of the ecosystem services urban areas provide to people in the UK was estimated to be £792 billion.

There will be an opportunity for participants to join a question and answer session at the end of the presentations.
