Water Account, Australia, 2021-2022

The Water Account, Australia (WAA) is an environmental-economic account produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), which is compiled, as far as possible, in accordance with the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) and the SEEA-Water frameworks. It includes water supply and use tables for both physical volumes and monetary values. The latest release of WAA presents information on the physical and monetary supply and use of water in the Austrialian economy for the financial year 2021-2022. It includes water-related indicators, including consumpiton, use, expenditure, intensity and productivity; industry water use splits for states/territories and water supply industry highlights.
