The document presents an updated version of the revised CEPA and CReMA explanatory notes discussed by MESA WG during its May 2019 meeting1 . The draft CEPA and CReMA explanatory notes integrate the feedback provided by MESA WG members in a written consultation in summer 2019, reviewed further, clarified and elaborated in subsequent discussions of the Task Force on the classification of environmental activities (hereinafter referred to as "Task Force").
