France will host the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020 from 3 to 11 September 2021 in Marseille. The event, which originally was planned to be held in June 2020, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Eurostat Working Group on Forestry Statistics and Accounts will meet from 13-14 November 2019 at Eurostat in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. This technical meeting of official producers of forest accounts and forestry statistics in the European Union will discuss common data collection, methodolody, new regulations and current affairs.

The Eurostat meeting of Directors of Sectoral and Environmental Statistics and Accounts (DIMESA) will meet from 16-17 October 2019 at Eurostat in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. This management meeting of official producers of SEEA accounts in the European Union will discuss planning and projects covering the SEEA as well as energy statistics, transport statistics and GIS.

The Eurostat Task Force on the Classification of Environmental Activities will meet from 13-14 June 2019 at Eurostat in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. This technical meeting of official producers of SEEA accounts in the European Union will discuss monetary environmental accounts. In particular, the meeting will cover explanatory notes for the accounts and a review of the CEPA and CReMA classifications.
