Summary
This report shows the first experimental results for the Netherlands on monetary valuation of ecosystem services and ecosystem assets using the SEEA EEA framework. This study estimates the value of ten ecosystem services, including provisioning, regulating and cultural services. The results are spatially explicit and presented per province and on national scale. The project was carried out in collaboration with Wageningen University on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. This report is part of the Natural Capital Accounts of the Netherlands. The report and technical annex are in English, the short summary is in Dutch.
